Oreta’s CISO Named Finalist at the 2024 Cyber Security Awards

We’re proud to share that Faizal J., Chief Information Security Officer at Oreta, has been named a finalist in the prestigious CISO of the Year category at the 2024 Cyber Security Awards—a national program recognising Australia’s leading cybersecurity talent and transformative impact across the industry.

Held annually, the Cyber Security Awards honour individuals and organisations who are at the forefront of safeguarding businesses, communities, and governments from cyber threats. With the industry facing rising pressure to keep pace with evolving threats, this recognition highlights those who demonstrate excellence in strategy, resilience, and innovation.

Faizal’s nomination reflects his visionary leadership and deep commitment to protecting not only Oreta’s digital ecosystem, but also the data and operations of our clients. His work has driven tangible outcomes—from strengthening enterprise security strategies to embedding security practices into broader digital transformation efforts.

As Oreta continues to champion best-in-class security services—including our vCISO model—Faizal’s leadership sets the benchmark for excellence in the field. We’re honoured to see him recognised among Australia’s top cybersecurity leaders and look forward to celebrating with industry peers at the awards ceremony.

Congratulations again to Faizal and all the other finalists helping shape a more secure digital future.
